Machinarium nominated for AIAS Awards!

Machinarium has picked up an interactive achievement award nomination in Art Direction category from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS). Apparently we are in a high society, check out other nominated games in this category:

Assassin’s Creed II
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Resident Evil 5
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

    It’s a great game and along with the others I congratulate you on a splendid effort.

    I haven’t seen anyone yet point out (perhaps because they are too young) that the game is basically Space Quest from about 1987 but with really cool graphics. Still, a good job, and let’s hope that retro-computing can survive. I will recommend this to my IT colleagues. They will also recall the days of Colossal Cave/Infocom adventures and “Invisiclues”.
